Deep Water Dance Meeting

 from 15 to 19 May 2019

 

A meeting where people share their knowledge of dance and freediving in the Italian world’s deepest pool, the Y-40.
The goal of the meeting is to practice freediving, dance, contact improvisation, watsu, yoga, relaxation, video making … living together in the same house for four days and participating in all these collective research activities.
Each day there will be a meeting dedicated to the next day organization and a sharing of experiences just lived.
The event will be documented by pictures and videos.

The festival is for:

– certificated freedivers who want to try deep underwater contact improvisation, watsu and water dance;
– teachers of yoga, contact improvisation, watsu;
– underwater photographer/videomakers.

 Every participant is free to share his knowledge in one of the mentioned disciplines.
The maximum number of participants is 6.
We will share the cost of accomodation and food.
To enter to Y-40 pool a freediving certification is mandatory.
